ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES FOR NOVEMBER 2 - NOVEMBER 9

Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Friday, November 2, through Sunday, November 9, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1 – South Coast: November 3 and November 6

• Daytime pavement work along Highway 1 between Redwood Gulch and Grey Slip from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 1 – Big Sur: November 3 – November 7

• Daytime spraying, drainage, and shoulder work along Highway 1 between Lime Creek Bridge and Garrapata Creek Bridge from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 1 – Big Sur Highlands: November 3 – November 7

• Daytime bridge work along Highway 1 at Malpaso Creek Bridge from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 1 – Carmel: November 3 – November 7

• Night time roadwork along Highway 1 between Carmel Valley Road and Atherton Drive from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 1 – Monterey: November 4 – November 5

• Day Time tree removal along southbound Highway 1 between Aguajito Road and Munras Avenue from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 68 – Multiple Locations: November 2 – November 7

• Night time work along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 at multiple locations from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Locations are:
• Route 218 (Canyon Del Rey) to Olmsted Road: Shoulder work.
• Bit Road to Buena Vista Lane: Utility Work.
• Quail Ridge Lane to Corral De Tierra Road: k-rail Installation and utility work.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 101 – Soledad to Gonzales: November 3 – November 6

• Daytime grinding and paving along northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Camphora Gloria Road and La Gloria Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes

Highway 101 – Prunedale Improvement Project: November 2 – November 7

• Night work will result in alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 101 at the following locations from 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
• The locations are:
• Between Boronda Road and Ralph Lane.
• Between Vierra Canyon Road and Tustin Road.
• Between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road.
• The Crazy Horse Canyon Interchange northbound and southbound on-ramps and off-ramps. 
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Davis Road Class II Bike Lane Project – Salinas

• Daytime bike lane work on Davis Road between Blanco Road and East Rossi Street may result in alternating lane closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Imjin Parkway Class II Bike Lane Project

• Daytime bike lane work on Imjin Parkway between Reservation Road and Imjin Road may result in alternating lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
