ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES FOR OCTOBER 18 - OCTOBER 26

Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Saturday, October 18, through Sunday, October 26, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1 – Big Sur: October 21 – October 22

• Daytime bridge work along Highway 1 between Vicente Creek Bridge and Big Creek Bridge from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes

Highway 1 – Monterey: October 21

• Daytime guardrail repair along northbound Highway 1 between Highway 68 and Munras Avenue from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 1 – Seaside: October 18

• Daytime electrical work will temporarily close the northbound Highway 1 off-ramp at Fremont Street from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
• There will be Electronic Message Boards alerting motorists of this ramp closure.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes

Highway 68 – Corral De Tierra and Quail Ridge: October 19– October 25

• Night time utility work along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Quail Ridge Lane and Corral De Tierra Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes

Highway 68 – Toro Park and San Benancio: October 20 – October 25

• Night time utility work along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between El Toro Creek Bridge and Toro Park from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes

Highway 101 – Prunedale Improvement Project: October 19 – October 24

• Night work will result in alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 101 at the following locations from 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
• The locations are:
• Between Boronda Road and Ralph Lane.
• Between Vierra Canyon Road and Tustin Road.
• Between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road.
• The Crazy Horse Canyon Interchange northbound and southbound on-ramps and off-ramps. 
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Davis Road Class II Bike Lane Project– Salinas

• Daytime bike lane work on Davis Road between Blanco Road and East Rossi Street may result in alternating lane closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Imjin Parkway Class II Bike Lane Project

• Daytime bike lane work on Imjin Parkway between Reservation Road and Imjin Road may result in alternating lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.

Carmel Valley Road Pavement Project

• Daytime road work along Carmel Valley Road between Ford Road and Esquiline Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
