ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES FOR OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 2

Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Friday, October 24, through Sunday, November 2, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1 – Big Sur: October 27 – October 31

• Daytime spraying and drainage work along Highway 1 between Lime Creek Bridge and Anderson Canyon Bridge from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 1 – Big Sur Highlands: October 27 – October 31

• Daytime bridge work along Highway 1 at Malpaso Creek Bridge from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 68 – Corral De Tierra and Quail Ridge: October 27 – October 31

• Night time utility work along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Quail Ridge Lane and Corral De Tierra Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes

Highway 68 – Toro Park and San Benancio: October 24 – October 26

• Night time utility work along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between El Toro Creek Bridge and Toro Park from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes

Highway 101 – King City: October 27 – October 31

• Daytime work on the northbound and southbound Canal Street on-ramps and off-ramps from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes

Highway 101 – King City: October 28

• Daytime sign work between Broadway and Jolon Road from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 101 – Gonzales: October 28

• Daytime grinding and paving along southbound Highway 101 between Alta Street/Old Stage Road and Fifth Street/Johnson Canyon Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 101 – Prunedale Improvement Project: October 26 – October 31

• Night work will result in alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 101 at the following locations from 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
• The locations are:
• Between Boronda Road and Ralph Lane.
• Between Vierra Canyon Road and Tustin Road.
• Between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road.
• The Crazy Horse Canyon Interchange northbound and southbound on-ramps and off-ramps. 
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 101 – San Juan Road Project: October 27 – October 29

• Night time work along northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton Road and Cannon Road/Rocks Road from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Davis Road Class II Bike Lane Project– Salinas

• Daytime bike lane work on Davis Road between Blanco Road and East Rossi Street may result in alternating lane closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Imjin Parkway Class II Bike Lane Project

• Daytime bike lane work on Imjin Parkway between Reservation Road and Imjin Road may result in alternating lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
