are the major scheduled road and
lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday,
October 5, through Sunday, October 12, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is
weather-dependent.
Highway 1 – South Coast: October 6
– October 10
- Daytime paving along Highway 1 between the San Luis Obispo County Line and Redwood Gulch from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 1 – Big Sur: October 6 –
October 9
- Daytime paving and vegetation spraying along Highway 1 between Lime Creek Bridge and Bixby Creek Bridge from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 1 – Carmel: October 6 – October 9
- Daytime paving along Highway 1 between Monastery Beach and Point Lobos from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- There will be one way reversing traffic control with flaggers.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 68 – Pacific Grove: October
8
- Daytime survey work along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Bishop Avenue and Scenic Drive from 9 p.m. to 12 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 101 – Greenfield: October 6
– October 10
- Daytime vegetation spraying along Highway 101 between Hudson Road and Arroyo Seco Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 101 – Prunedale Improvement Project: October
5 – October 10
- Night work will result in alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 101 at the following locations from 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- The locations are:
- Between Boronda Road and Ralph Lane.
- Between Vierra Canyon Road and Tustin Road.
- Between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – San Juan Road
Project: October 5– October 10
- Night time work along southbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton Road and Cannon Road/Rocks Road from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Access to and from San Juan Road will be closed from 12 a.m. Monday, October 6 until 4 a.m. Friday, October 10.
- Motorists should expect delays and plan for additional travel time.
Highway 198: October 6 – October 10
- Daytime pavement work along Highway 198 between the Fresno County Line and Highway 25 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Davis Road Class II Bike Lane Project–
Salinas
- Daytime bike lane work on Davis Road between Blanco Road and East Rossi Street may result in alternating lane closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Imjin Parkway Class II Bike Lane Project
- Daytime bike lane work on Imjin Parkway between Reservation Road and Imjin Road may result in alternating lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
