ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES FOR NOVEMBER 9 - NOVEMBER 16

Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Friday, November 9, through Sunday, November 16, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1 – South Coast: November 11 and November 13

• Daytime work along Highway 1 between Kirk Creek Camp and Rain Rock from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 30 minutes

Highway 1 – Carmel Highlands: November 11 – November 14

• Daytime utility work along Highway 1 between Peter Pan Road and Fern Canyon/Corona Road from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes

Highway 1 – Carmel: November 12 – November 13

• Daytime paving along northbound Highway 1 between Rio Road and Carmel Valley Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes

Highway 1 – Monterey: November 12 – November 14

• Night time k-rail installation on the northbound Fremont Street Highway 1 on-ramp between from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 1 – North Marina: November 14

• Daytime paving at the southbound Del Monte Boulevard/Neponset Road Highway 1 off-ramp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes

Highway 68 – Multiple Locations: November 10 – November 14

• Night time work along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 at multiple locations from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Locations are:
• Route 218 (Canyon Del Rey) to Olmsted Road: Shoulder work.
• Bit Road to Buena Vista Lane: Utility Work.
• Quail Ridge Lane to Corral De Tierra Road: k-rail Installation and utility work.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 101 – Prunedale Improvement Project: November 10 – November 14

• Night work will result in alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 101 at the following locations from 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
• The locations are:
• Between Boronda Road and Ralph Lane.
• Between Vierra Canyon Road and Tustin Road.
• Between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road.
• The Crazy Horse Canyon Interchange northbound and southbound on-ramps and off-ramps. 
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 101 – San Juan Road Project: November 10 – November 12

• Night time work will result in alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton Road and Cannon Road/Rocks Road from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Imjin Parkway Class II Bike Lane Project: November 10 – November 14

• Night time paving will close Imjin Parkway between Reservation Road and Imjin Road from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Motorists should detour to California Street and Reservation Road.
• Daytime bike lane work on Imjin Parkway between Reservation Road and Imjin Road may result in alternating lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
