are the major scheduled road and
lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday,
February 2, through Sunday, February 9, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is
weather-dependent.
Highway 1 – Multiple Locations: Feb. 3 – Feb 7
- Daytime drainage and tree work
at multiple locations along Highway 1 between from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Locations are:
- Lime Creek Bridge to Big Sur Maintenance
Station: drainage work.
- Burns Creek Bridge to Castro
Canyon Bridge: tree work.
- Big Sur Maintenance Station
to Garrapata Ridge Road: drainage work.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – Gonzales and Soledad: Feb. 3 – Feb. 7
- Daytime drainage and median
work on Highway 101 from La Gloria Road to Arroyo
Seco Road will result in alternating lane closures—northbound and
southbound—between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Prunedale Improvement Project: Feb. 3 – Feb. 7
- Nighttime work will result in
alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 101 between
Vierra Canyon Road and Crazy Horse Canyon Road from 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
San Juan Road Interchange: Feb. 3 – Feb. 7
- Night
work on Highway 101 will cause alternating lane closures on northbound and
southbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton
Road and Rocks / Cannon Road from 7:30 p.m.
and 6 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
Special Notice — South County: Jan. 23 – Feb. 6
· Military training exercises will cause
delays on Milpitas Road and Nacimiento Fergusson Road in Fort Hunter Liggett Jan.
23 – Feb. 6.
· Rail road repairs will cause delays on Sargents
Road in San Ardo Jan.
23 – Feb. 6.
