ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES MARCH 29 - APRIL 5

Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, March 29 through Sunday, April 5, 2015 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1 – Big Sur Coast: March 30 – April 3

• Daytime roadwork at two locations along Highway 1 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The locations are:
• Salmon Creek Ranger Station for slope clearing.
• Pfeiffer Burns State Park to Ocean Avenue for vegetation spraying.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

PG&E Gas Line Replacement Project – Highway 68: March 29 – April 4

• Gas line replacement work will result in night time lane closures along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between San Benancio Road and Quail Ridge Lane from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes

Highway 101 – Greenfield to Soledad: March 30 – April 3

• Daytime and night time median barrier and ramp work along Highway 101 between Espinosa Road and Arroyo Seco Road.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 101 – San Juan Road Interchange Project: March 29 – April 3

• Night time median barrier work along northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton Road (South) and Cannon Road/Rocks Road from 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Abbott Street Water Line Replacement Project

• Waterline installation along the Abbott Street/Harkins Road/Dayton Street corridor may result in lane closures and traffic control.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes
