Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, March 15 through Sunday, March 22, 2015 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1 – Big Sur — Multiple Locations: March 16 – 20

• Daytime roadwork at multiple locations along Highway 1 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The locations are:
• The Salmon Creek Ranger Station for drainage work.
• Partington Ridge Road to Grimes Canyon for crack and seal work.
• Andrew Molera State Park to Garrapata Creek Bridge for crack and seal work.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 1 – Monterey: March 18

• Daytime tree removal along southbound Highway 1 at Fremont Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 1 – Monterey: March 17

• Daytime pavement repair along northbound Highway 1 between Del Monte Avenue and Canyon Del Rey from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

PG&E Gas Line Replacement Project – Highway 68: March 16 – 21

• Gas line replacement work will result in night time lane closures along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Toro Road and Bit Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes

Highway 101 – Bradley: March 16 – 20

• Daytime survey work and guardrail repair along Highway 101 between Jolon Road and Bradley from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 101 – Greenfield to Soledad: March 15 – 20

• Daytime and night time median barrier and ramp work along Highway 101 between Espinosa Road and Arroyo Seco Road.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 101 – San Juan Road Interchange Project: March 16 – 20

• Night time median barrier work along northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton Road (South) and Cannon Road/Rocks Road from 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 156 – Castroville to Prunedale: March 18

• Daytime vegetation spraying along Highway 156 between Highway 1 and Highway 101 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Abbott Street Water Line Replacement Project

• Waterline installation along the Abbott Street/Harkins Road/Dayton Street corridor may result in lane closures and traffic control.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes
