lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday,
March 22 through Sunday, March 29, 2015 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is
weather-dependent.
Highway 1 – Big Sur — Multiple
Locations: March 23 – 27
- Daytime roadwork at multiple locations along Highway 1 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The locations are:
- Torre Canyon Bridge to Grimes Canyon for crack and seal work.
- Juan Higuera Creek Bridge to Bixby Creek Bridge for crack and seal work.
- Palo Colorado for slide removal.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 68 – Pacific Grove: March 23
– 27
- Daytime pavement repair along Highway 68 between Congress Avenue and Piedmont Avenue from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
PG&E Gas Line Replacement Project –
Highway 68: March 23 – 28
- Gas line replacement work will result in night time lane closures along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between San Benancio Road and Quail Ridge Lane from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes
Highway 101 – King City: March 23 –
27
- Daytime bridge inspection along Highway 101 between Jolon Road and Broadway from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – Greenfield to Soledad: March 22
– 27
- Daytime and night time median barrier and ramp work along Highway 101 between Espinosa Road and Arroyo Seco Road.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – San Juan Road Interchange
Project: March 23 – 27
- Night time median barrier work along northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton Road (South) and Cannon Road/Rocks Road from 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 183 – Castroville to Salinas:
March 23 – 26
- Daytime paving along Highway 183 between Old Cemetery Road and Cooper Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Abbott Street Water Line Replacement Project
- Waterline installation along the Abbott Street/Harkins Road/Dayton Street corridor may result in lane closures and traffic control.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes
