are the major scheduled road and
lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday,
November 30 through Sunday, December 7, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is
weather-dependent.
Highway 1 – Monterey: December 1 – December 5
- Night time k-rail installation on the northbound Fremont Street Highway 1 on-ramp between from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 68 – Toro Park: December 1 – December
6
- Night time utility work along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Toro Park and Bit Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes
Highway 101 – Salinas: December 3 – December
5
- Daytime pavement repair on Highway 101 between Route 68 (John Street) and Route 183 (North Main Street) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 101 – Prunedale Improvement Project: December
1 – December 5
- Night work will result in alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 101 at the following locations from 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- The locations are:
- Between Boronda Road and Ralph Lane.
- Between Vierra Canyon Road and Tustin Road.
- The northbound San Miguel Canyon Road off-ramp.
- Between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road.
- The Crazy Horse Canyon Interchange northbound and southbound on-ramps and off-ramps.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – San Juan Road
Project: December 2 – December 5
- Night time work along northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton Road and Cannon Road/Rocks Road from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Imjin Parkway Class II Bike Lane Project
- Daytime bike lane work on Imjin Parkway between Reservation Road and Imjin Road may result in alternating lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Abbott Street Water Line Replacement Project
- Waterline replacement will result in traffic control and lane closures between Sanborn Road and Harkins Road.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes
