ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES FOR NOVEMBER 16 - NOVEMBER 23

Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Friday, November 16 through Sunday, November 23, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1 – Big Sur: November 17 – November 21

• Daytime drainage work along Highway 1 at two locations from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• The locations are:
• Buck Creek Bridge to Anderson Canyon Bridge
• Little Sur River Bridge to Garrapata Creek Bridge
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 1 – Monterey: November 16 – November 17

• Night time k-rail installation on the northbound Fremont Street Highway 1 on-ramp between from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 68 – Multiple Locations: November 16 – November 22

• Night time utility work along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 at multiple locations from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Locations are:
• Blue Larkspur Lane to Bit Road.
• Corral De Tierra Road to Laureles Grade.
• Quail Ridge Lane to Corral De Tierra Road.
• San Benancio Road to Torero Drive.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 101 – Bradley: November 20

• Daytime bridge work on northbound Highway 101 at Jolon Road in Bradley from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 101 – King City: November 19

• Daytime survey work on Highway 101 at Jolon Road in King City from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 101 – Soledad: November 18

• Daytime bridge work on northbound Highway 101 between Arroy Seco Road and Route 146 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 101 – Salinas: November 19 – November 21

• Daytime pavement repair on Highway 101 between Route 68 (John Street) and Route 183 (North Main Street) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 101 – Prunedale Improvement Project: November 16 – November 21

• Night work will result in alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 101 at the following locations from 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
• The locations are:
• Between Boronda Road and Ralph Lane.
• Between Vierra Canyon Road and Tustin Road.
• Between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road.
• The Crazy Horse Canyon Interchange northbound and southbound on-ramps and off-ramps. 
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Davis Road Closure: November 14 – November 24

• Davis Road is temporarily closed to through traffic between Hitchcock Road and Reservation Road.
• Motorists should follow the posted detour.

Imjin Parkway Class II Bike Lane Project

• Daytime bike lane work on Imjin Parkway between Reservation Road and Imjin Road may result in alternating lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
