lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday,
April 27, through Sunday, May 4, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is
weather-dependent.
Highway 1 – Big Sur Marathon: Apr. 27

Highway 1 will be
subject to full closure on Sunday, April 27 for the Big Sure Marathon.

Highway 1 – Big Sur Coast: Apr. 28 – May 2
- Daytime drainage work and vegetation spraying along Highway 1 at two locations from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Locations are:
- Between Willow Creek Bridge and Rain Rock
- Between Lime Creek Bridge and Garrapata Creek Bridge
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 1 –
Monterey: Apr. 27 – May 2
- Night time bridge work Highway 1 will result in alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 1 at Munras Avenue from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 1 – Monterey: Apr.

- Daytime sign work on Highway 1 will result in lane closures for Highway 1 and the northbound Del Monte Avenue on-ramp from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – Salinas: Apr. 29
- Daytime drainage work will result lane closures on the Spence Road/Abbott Street off-ramp from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – Salinas: Apr. 30
- Daytime drainage work will result lane closures on area on-ramps between Airport Boulevard and West Laurel Drive from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – San Juan Road
Interchange: Apr. 28 – May 2
- Daytime shoulder work will close the northbound Highway 101 shoulder between Dunbarton Road and Cole Rd. from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect brief delays.
