Highway 1/Rocky Creek Viaduct Project: Oct. 28 – Nov. 1
- Daytime
roadwork on Highway 1 continues next week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct.
28 through Friday, Nov. 1.
- There will be no overnight work or overnight closures scheduled from Sunday, Oct. 27 through Thursday, Oct. 31.
Highway
1 at Rocky Creek has one-way signalized traffic control 24/7. Traffic will be
stopped for 10 minutes at a time during daytime and nighttime roadwork.
Highway 1 – Big Sur Coast:
Oct. 28 – Nov. 1
- Increased truck traffic along
Highway 1 between Fullers Stockpile, just north of Torre Canyon Bridge, to
the Willow Springs Maintenance Yard, just north of Gorda, from 7 a.m. to 3:30
p.m.
- The trucks will be hauling stored
material in preparation for the winter storm season.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 1 – Sand City:
Oct. 30
- Bridge work on northbound Highway
1 between Route 218 and Tioga Avenue from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 1 – Monterey:
Oct. 28 – End of November
- Night time pavement work continues
on 12 on/off-ramps along Highway. 1 from State Route 68 (East) to State
Route 68 (West) 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- On/off ramps to be paved
include:
- State
Route 68 (west), both directions;
- Munras
Ave., both directions;
- Soledad
Dr.,both directions;
- Aguajito
Rd, both directions; .
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 20 minutes.
Highway 101 – Gonzales and Soledad: Oct. 27 – Nov. 1
- Daytime paving and drainage work
on Highway 101 from La Gloria Road to Arroyo
Seco Road will result in alternating lane closures—northbound and southbound—between
5:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- Night time paving and survey
work on Highway 101 from La Gloria Road to Arroyo
Seco Road will result in alternating lane closures—northbound and
southbound—between 6 p.m. and 5 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – Gonzales:
Oct. 28
- Daytime crack and seal work on southbound
Highway 101 between La Gloria Road and Alta St/Old Stage Road from 9 a.m.
to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – Salinas:
Oct. 29 – Nov. 1
- Daytime crack and seal work on southbound
Highway 101 between Airport Blvd and Gould Road from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – Salinas:
Oct. 28 – 31
- Daytime paving will close the
southbound Highway 101 Market Street off-ramp from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 28 through Thursday, Oct. 31.
- Motorists should detour to the
John Street off-ramp.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – Salinas:
Oct. 30 – Oct. 31
- Pavement work on southbound Highway
101 between East Market Street and Route 183 (North Main St) from 9 a.m.
to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Prunedale Improvement Project – Multiple
Locations: Oct. 28 – Nov. 1
- Nighttime work on Highway 101 in
Prunedale will result in alternating lane closures—northbound and
southbound—between 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Locations are:
- Vierra Canyon Road to San Miguel Canyon Road for
Miscellaneous work.
- Messick Road to Crazy Horse Canyon Road for Median
Barrier work.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Prunedale Improvement Project – Crazy Horse Canyon
Interchange: Oct. 29
- Nighttime work on the Crazy
Horse Canyon Interchange will close the southbound US 101 on-ramp and
northbound Crazy Horse Canyon off-ramp from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning on
October 29.
- Northbound motorists should
take San Miguel Canyon Road to Echo Valley Road.
- Motorists heading to southbound
US 101 should take Echo Valley Road to San Miguel Canyon Road.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 198: Oct. 28 – Nov. 1
- Day time pavement work between
Freeman Flat Road and Pine Valley Road between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 218– Seaside: Oct. 28– Nov. 1
- Daytime paving on Highway 218 between
Del Monte Blvd and Amador Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
