ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES MAY 31 - JUNE 7

Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, May 31 through Sunday, June 7, 2015 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1 – Carmel Highlands: June 1 – June 7

• Daytime tree removal along Highway 1 between Fern Canyon/Corona Road and Point Lobos State Reserve from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Roadwork consists of one-way reversing traffic control with flaggers.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 1 – Carmel: June 1

• One-day only tree removal between Atherton Drive and South Carmel Hill Drive on Monday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Roadwork consists of one-way reversing traffic control with flaggers.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.

PG&E Gas Line Replacement Project – Highway 68: June 1 – June 6

• Gas line replacement work will result in night time lane closures along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Olmsted Road and Bit Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
•  Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes

Highway 101 – Greenfield: May 31 – June 5

• Daytime and night time pavement work along northbound and southbound Highway 101 at Espinosa Road.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 101 – Soledad: June 4

• Daytime bridge work along northbound Highway 101 between Arroyo Seco Road and Route 146 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 101 – San Juan Road Interchange Project: May 31 – June 5

• Night time construction work along southbound and northbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton Road (South) and Cannon Road/Rocks Road from 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
• The southbound and northbound San Juan Road Interchange ramps will be subject to closure.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 183 / Main Street – Salinas: June 1 – June 5

• Daytime pavement repair along northbound Highway 183/Main Street between Highway 101 and Bridge Street from 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

South Salinas: Westbound Blanco Road Closure

• Industrial wastewater pipe installation will result in the all-day closure of westbound Blanco Road between Blanco Circle and La Mesa Way.
• Eastbound Blanco Road will be subject to daytime lane closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Detour signs will be in place to help direct motorists.
• Motorists should expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.
