are the major scheduled road and
lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday,
May 10 through Sunday, May 17, 2015 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is
weather-dependent.
Highway 1 – Big Sur Coast: May 11 –
May 15
- Daytime crack seal work along Highway 1 at two locations from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- The locations are:
- Fullers Point to Lime Creek Bridge
- Coast Road (North) to Little Sur River Bridge
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 25 – May 12 – May 14
- Daytime pavement work along Highway 25 between Route 198 and Bitterwater Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
PG&E Gas Line Replacement Project –
Highway 68: May 11 – May 16
- Gas line replacement work will result in night time lane closures along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Torero Drive and Josselyn Canyon Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes
Highway 101 – Greenfield: May 10 – May 15
- Daytime and night time pavement work along northbound and southbound Highway 101 at Espinosa Road.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – Salinas to San Benito
County Line: May 13 – May 15
- Daytime vegetation spraying along northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Gould Road and the San Benito County Line from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
Highway 101 – San Juan Road Interchange
Project: May 10 – May 15
- Night time paving and medium barrier work along southbound and northbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton Road (South) and Cannon Road/Rocks Road from 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
- The southbound and northbound San Juan Road Interchange ramps will be subject to closure.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
South Salinas: Westbound Blanco
Road Closure
- Industrial wastewater pipe installation will result in the closure of westbound Blanco Road between Blanco Circle and La Mesa Way starting Monday, May 4.
- Eastbound Blanco Road will be subject to daytime lane closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Detour signs will be in place to help direct motorists.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.
