Here
are the major scheduled road and
lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday,
August 10, through Sunday, August 17, 2014 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is
weather-dependent.
Highway 1 – South Coast: August 11
– August 15
- Daytime pavement grinding at two locations along Highway 1 between Duck Pond and Lucia from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- The locations are:
- Duck Pond to Gorda: August 11 – August 13
- Rain Rock to Lucia August 14 – 15.
- There will be one-way reversing traffic control with flagging.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes
Highway 1 – Big Sur: August 12 – August 15
- Daytime drainage cleaning and vegetation spraying along Highway 1 between Lime Creek Bridge and the Big Sur Maintenance Station from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 1 – Big Sur: August 12
- Daytime tree work along Highway 1 between the Big Sur Maintenance Station and the Molera Park Entrance from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 101 – King City: August 11 – August
15
- Daytime curb, gutter, and sidewalk work along northbound and southbound Highway 101 three locations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- The locations are:
- Wild Horse Road off-ramp and street.
- First street off-ramp and street.
- Canal Street off-ramp and street.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 101 – King City: August 13
– August 14
- Daytime shoulder work on the northbound the Highway 101 / Grant Street off-ramp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Highway 101 – Prunedale Improvement Project: August
10 – August 15
- Night work will result in alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 101 at three locations from 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- The locations are:
- Between Boronda Road and Ralph Lane
- Between Vierra Canyon Road and Tustin Road
- Between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 198: August 11 – August 15
- Daytime pavement work along Highway 198 between the Fresno County Line and Highway 25 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
Davis Road Class II Bike Lane Project–
Salinas
- Daytime bike lane work on Davis Road between Blanco Road and East Rossi Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
Imjin Parkway Class II Bike Lane Project
- Daytime bike lane work on Imjin Parkway between Reservation Road and Imjin Road may result in alternating lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
