road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, December 15, through Sunday, December 22, 2013 – newest information is in
red.

Highway 1 – Big Sur: Dec. 16 – Dec. 20
- Daytime drainage work along
Highway 1 between Lime Creek Bridge and Garrapata Creek Bridge from 8:45
a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 1 – Big Sur Coast:
Dec. 16 – Dec. 20
- Daytime pavement work along
Highway 1 between the Point Sur Naval Facility and Hurricane Point from
8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 68 – Salinas:
Dec. 16 – Dec. 20
- Daytime utility work on
eastbound Highway 68 between San Joaquin Street and San Miguel Avenue in
Salinas from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
Highway 101 – Greenfield:
Dec. 16 – Dec. 20
- Daytime crack and seal work on
northbound Highway 101 from Thorne
Road to Harden Farms Road 9 a.m. and 3
p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – Gonzales and Soledad: Dec. 16 – Dec. 20
- Daytime paving, drainage, and
electrical work on Highway 101 from La Gloria Road to Arroyo Seco Road will result in alternating lane and
ramp closures—northbound and southbound—between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Prunedale Improvement Project – San Miguel Canyon
Road: Dec. 16 – Dec. 20
- Nighttime drainage work
continues on northbound Highway 101 between and San Miguel Canyon Road and
Messick Road North with alternating lane closures from 7:30 p.m. and 6
a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
San Juan Road Interchange Project: Dec. 18
- Daytime striping on northbound Highway 101 from Dunbarton Road (South) to Cannon/Rocks Road 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Highway 156 – Prunedale:
Dec. 17
- Daytime paving work on Highway
156 between Cathedral Oak Road and Simon Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10
minutes.
