Highway 1/Rocky Creek Viaduct Project: Aug. 5 – Aug. 9
- Daytime roadwork on Highway 1 continues next week from 7
a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5 through Friday, Aug. 9.
- There will be no
FULL OVERNIGHT CLOSURE of Hwy. 1 next week.
- There
WILL be NIGHT ROADWORK starting Monday, Aug.
5 through Thursday, Aug. 8 (opening Friday at 7am).
Highway 1 at Rocky Creek has
one-way signalized traffic control 24/7. Traffic will be stopped for 10 minutes
at a time during daytime and nighttime roadwork.
Highway 1 Carmel: Aug.
7 – 9
- Daytime tree work on Highway 1
at Ribera Road and South Carmel Hill Drive from 9
a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 68 – Peninsula:
Aug. 5 – 9
- Daytime tree work on Highway 68,
from Highway 1 to Bishop Avenue, between the
hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 68 – Reservation Road: Aug. 4 – 8
- Night time bridge work on Highway
68 at Reservation Road from 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 Gonzales and Soledad: Aug. 5 – Aug. 9
- Daytime survey work on Highway
101 from La Gloria Road to Arroyo
Seco Road will result in alternating lane closures—northbound and southbound—between
6 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Prunedale Improvement Project – Ralph Lane to Pesante
Road: Aug. 5 – Aug. 9
- Nighttime work on Highway 101
from Ralph Lane to Pesante Road will close one lane each direction between
7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- The closure is needed for crews
to conduct work on the median barrier.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
San Juan Road Interchange: Night Work Aug. 4 – Aug. 9
· Night
work on Highway 101 from Dunbarton Road to Rocks Road will close San Juan
Road and one lane of Highway 101 each direction between and the hours of 7:30
p.m. and 6 a.m.

Night Work will close the San Juan Road on ramp and off ramp between
and the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
· Motorists
can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 198 – San Lucas: Aug. 7 – Aug. 9
- Daytime pavement work on Highway
198 East of San Lucas from Freeman
Flat Road to Pine Valley Road between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
