Road and lane closures for Aug. 11 - Aug. 18

Highway 1/Rocky Creek Viaduct Project:  Aug. 12 – Aug. 16

• Daytime roadwork on Highway 1 continues next week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12 through Friday, Aug. 16.
• There will be NO OVERNIGHT CLOSURES OR NIGHT ROADWORK next week (Sunday Aug. 11 through Thursday, Aug. 15.).

 

• ADVANCE NOTIFICATION: THERE WILL BE TWO OVERNIGHT FULL CLOSURES between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. on:
• Monday, Aug. 19, and
• Tuesday, Aug. 20

Highway 1 at Rocky Creek has one-way signalized traffic control 24/7. Traffic will be stopped for 10 minutes at a time during daytime and nighttime roadwork.

Highway 1 Big Sur Coast:  Aug. 14 – 16

• Daytime drainage and shoulder work on Highway 1 between Burns Creek Bridge and Garrapata Ridge Road from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 68 – Reservation Road:  Aug. 11 – 16

• Night time bridge work on Highway 68 at Reservation Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 101 Gonzales and Soledad:  Aug. 12 – Aug. 16

• Daytime survey and drainage work on Highway 101 from La Gloria Road to Arroyo Seco Road will result in alternating lane closures—northbound and southbound—between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Prunedale Improvement Project – Ralph Lane to Pesante Road:  Aug. 12 – Aug. 16

• Nighttime work on Highway 101, from Ralph Lane to Pesante Road, will close one lane each direction between 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.
• The closure is needed for crews to conduct work on the median barrier.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

San Juan Road Interchange: Night Work Aug. 12 – Aug. 16

·         Night work on Highway 101 from Dunbarton Road to Rocks Road will close San Juan Road and one lane of Highway 101 each direction between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.

·         Night Work will close the San Juan Road on ramp between and the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m.

·         Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 146:  Aug. 12 – Aug. 16 

• Daytime drainage work on Highway 146 from Stonewall Canyon Rd (West) to Ramus Road between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 198 – San Lucas:  Aug. 12 – Aug. 16 

• Daytime drainage work on Highway 198 East of San Lucas from 198 to Summit/Mustang Road between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
