Road and Lane Closures for April 7 - April 14

MONTEREY COUNTY – Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for the areas between Salinas and North Monterey County from Sunday, April 7, through Sunday, April 14, 2013– newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1/Rocky Creek Viaduct Project:  Apr 8  – Apr 12

• Daytime roadwork on Highway 1 continues next week from 7 am to 5 pm Monday, April 8 through Friday, April 12
• Traffic will be stopped for 10 minutes at a time during daytime roadwork.
•  There is NO NIGHT WORK/Closures scheduled for next week—Sunday, April 7, through Thursday, April 11.

Highway 1 at Pacific Valley/Kirk Creek Camp:  Apr 8 – Apr 12

• Daytime roadwork on Highway 1 next week from 8 am to 4 pm Monday, April 8 through Friday, April 12 for slide removal
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes

Highway 1/North of Moss Landing: Apr 7 – Apr 12

• Grinding operations continue at Springfield Road, north of Moss Landing, between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes

Highway 1/ Salinas Road to Watsonville:  Apr 7 – Apr 12

• Daytime and nighttime work on Highway 1 continues, from Salinas Road to the Santa Cruz County Line, will result in alternating lane closures—northbound and southbound—on Sunday, April 7, to Friday, April 12.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.

Highway 68 Between Department of Forestry and Laguna Seca: Apr 8 – Apr 12

•  Night work on Highway 68 between the Department of Forestry and Laguna Seca,
• Crews will be grinding pavement between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., from Monday, April 8, to Friday, April 12.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 20 minutes

Highway 101 at Chular: Apr 8 – Apr 12

•  Crews will be conducting curb, gutter, and sidewalk work between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5 p.m., from Tuesday, April 9, to Thursday, April 11.

 

Highway 101 South of Salinas: Apr 9 – Apr 11

• Crews will be sealing cracks between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3 p.m., from Tuesday, April 9, to Thursday, April 11.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes

Prunedale Improvement Project – Crazy Horse Canyon Road: Apr 8 – Apr 12

• Night work continues between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road between 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Monday, April 8, to Friday, April 12.
• Night continues at Crazy Horse Canyon Road between 7:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. from Monday, April 8, to Friday, April 12.
• Crews will be moving equipment and conducting bridge work.

San Juan Road Interchange – Rocks/Cannon Road to Dumbarton: Apr 7 – Apr 12

•  Crews will be grinding pavement between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m., from Monday, April 8, to Friday, April 12.
• Crews will also be excavating for roadway construction. 
•  Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
