Here are the
major scheduled road and lane closures for the areas between
Salinas and North Monterey County from Sunday, February 3, through Sunday,
February 10, 2013– newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is
weather-dependent.
Highway 101 Slope Repair North
of Prunedale: Jan. 28 – March
·
Crews
will make repairs to a ½ mile section of southbound Hwy. 101 between
Rocks Road and Cole Road near Prunedale starting next Monday, Jan. 28.
·
The
#1 (fast) lane will be closed in the southbound direction until Friday,
February 1.
·
Roadwork
hours will be from 8 am to 2 pm.
·
Up
to 10 minute delays are anticipated.
·
Both
southbound lanes of Hwy. 101 will remain open during the week of February 4-10
for the Pebble Beach golf tournament.
·
Roadwork
is expected to be completed by the end of March, weather permitting.
Highway 1/Rocky Creek Viaduct
Project: Feb 3 – Feb 10
·
Daytime
roadwork on Highway 1 continues next week from 7 am to 5 pm Monday, Feb. 4
through Friday, Feb. 8
·
Overnight
closures continue from 9pm to 7am Sunday, Feb. 3 through Thursday, Feb. 7
(opening Friday at 7am)
·
Hwy.
1 @ Rocky Creek has one-way has one-way signalized traffic control 24/7.
·
Traffic
will be stopped for 10 minutes at a time during daytime roadwork.
Highway 1 @ Fremont: Feb. 3 – Feb. 4
·
Night
work on Hwy 1 at Fremont St. will result in closures between the hours of 10
p.m. – 6 a.m. from Sunday, February 3, to Monday, February 4.
·
Motorists
can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 68 through Salinas: Feb
4 – Feb 8
·
Daytime
utility work on Hwy 68 in Salinas, between Hitchcock Road and John St., will
result in lane closures between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., from
Monday, February 4, to Friday, February 8.
·
Motorists
can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
Highway 68 @ Hwy 101: Feb 4 –
Feb 8
·
Night
work on the off-ramp from Hwy 101 to John St (Hwy 68) will result in lane
closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., from Monday, February 4, to
Friday, February 8.
·
Motorists
can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Hwy 101 @ East Market St: Feb 4
– Feb 8
·
Night
work on the on and off ramps from Hwy 101 to East Market Street will result in
lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., from Monday, February 4,
to Friday, February 8.
·
Motorists
can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Prunedale Improvement Project –
Crazy Horse Canyon Road: Feb 3 – Feb 10
- Night work on Hwy 101 between
Crazy Horse Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road will close lanes in each
direction between 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Monday, February 4, to Friday,
February 7.
- Night work on Crazy Horse
Canyon Road will result in flagging for both directions between 7:30 p.m.
and 6:00 a.m. from Monday, February 4, to Friday, February 7.
- Crews will be moving equipment
and installing piles.
San Juan Road Project: Feb 4 –
Feb 8

Night
work on Highway 101, between Dunbarton Road and Rocks Road, will result in lane
closures between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m., from Monday, February 4, to
Friday, February 8.

Motorists
can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes.
