are the major scheduled road and
lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday,
June 14 through Sunday, June 21, 2015 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is
weather-dependent.
Highway 1 – South Coast: June 15 – June 19
- Daytime drainage work along Highway 1 between the Big Creek Bridge and the Vincente Creek Bridge from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 68 – Pacific Grove: June 17
– June 18
- Daytime pavement repair along Highway 68 between S.F.B. Morse Drive and the Community Hospital Entrance from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
PG&E Gas Line Replacement Project –
Highway 68: June 15 – June 20
- Gas line replacement work will result in night time lane closures along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Olmsted Road and San Benancio Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes
Highway 101 – Greenfield: June 15 – June 19
- Daytime and night time pavement work along northbound and southbound Highway 101 at Espinosa Road.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 101 – San Juan Road Interchange
Project: June 14 – June 19
- Night time construction work along southbound and northbound Highway 101 between Dunbarton Road (South) and Cannon Road/Rocks Road from 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
- The southbound and northbound San Juan Road Interchange ramps will be subject to closure.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.
Highway 183 – Salinas to
Castroville: June 16
- Daytime chip seal work along Highway 183 between San Jon Road and the Espinosa Slough Bridge from 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Traffic control consists of one-way reversing traffic control with flagging
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.
South Salinas: Westbound Blanco Road Closure
- Industrial wastewater pipe installation will result in the all-day closure of westbound Blanco Road between Blanco Circle and La Mesa Way.
- Eastbound Blanco Road will be subject to daytime lane closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Detour signs will be in place to help direct motorists.
- Motorists should expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.
