Highway 1/Rocky Creek Viaduct Project:  Feb 25 – Mar 1

• Daytime roadwork on Highway 1 continues next week from 7 am to 5 pm Monday, Feb.25 through Friday, March 1
•  Overnight closures continue from 9pm to 7am Sunday, Feb. 24 and Monday, Feb. 25 and from 11pm to    7 am Tuesday, Feb. 26 through Thursday, Feb. 28 (opening Friday at 7am
•   Highway. 1 @ Rocky Creek has one-way signalized traffic control 24/7.
•   Traffic will be stopped for 10 minutes at a time during daytime roadwork.
•   Construction continues with drilling to place falsework on bridge columns.

Highway 1/Big Sur Area: Maintenance Work: Feb 25 – Mar 1

• Crews will be conducting tree work and shoulder work at multiple locations in the Big Sur vicinity.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 1 @ Fremont:  Feb 25 – Mar 1

•  Night work on Highway 1 at Fremont St. will result in closures between the hours of 7 p.m. – 6 a.m. from Monday, February 25, to Friday, March 1.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Highway 1/North of Moss Landing: Feb 26 – Mar 1

• Crews will be conducting grinding operations at Springfield Road North of Moss Landing between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.

Highway 1/ Salinas Road to Watsonville:  Feb 25 – Mar 1

• Daytime work on Highway 1, from Salinas Road to the Santa Cruz County Line, will result in alternating lane closures—northbound and southbound—between 7 am and 4 pm on Tuesday, February 25, to Friday, March 1.
• Motorists can expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.

Highway 68 in Pacific Grove: Feb 26 – Feb 28

•    Day work on Highway 68 between Morse Drive and Prescott Lane.
•    Crews will be conducting pavement work between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., from Tuesday, February 26, to        Thursday, February 28.
•    Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

Highway 68 between Highway 1 and Laguna Seca: Feb 25 – Mar 1

• Night work on Highway 68 between Hwy 1 and Laguna Seca. Crews will be conducting drainage work between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., from Monday, February 25, to Friday, March 1.
•  Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes.

Prunedale Improvement Project – Crazy Horse Canyon Road: Feb 25 – Mar 1

• Night work continues between Mallory Canyon Road and Echo Valley Road between 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Monday, February 25, to Friday, March 1.
• Night continues at Crazy Horse Canyon Road between 7:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. from Monday, February 25, to Friday, March 1.
• Crews will be conducting bridge work and pile driving.

South County: Highway 198 between Pine Valley Road and Griffin Road: Fed 25 – March 1.

Southbound Highway 101 at Soledad Prison: Emergency Repair on Over Crossing With 42-Hour Lane Closure This Weekend

• An emergency repair along the Hwy. 101 southbound #2 (slow) lane at the Soledad Prison Over-Crossing (O.C.) continues with daytime closures and a 42-hour closure this weekend.
• From 6 am to 3 pm Mondays through Fridays.
• A 42-hour closure of the Hwy. 101 southbound #2 lane at the Soledad Prison Over Crossing is scheduled from 8 pm on Friday, Feb. 15 through 2 pm Sunday, Feb. 17.
• This emergency repair. is necessary because the over-crossing was recently struck and damaged by an over-height truck load travelling southbound.

Highway 101 Slope Repair North of Prunedale: Jan. 28 – March

·         Crews will make repairs to a ½ mile section of southbound Hwy. 101 between Rocks Road and Cole Road near Prunedale starting Monday, Jan. 28.

·         The #1 (fast) lane will be closed in the southbound direction until Friday, February 1.

·         Roadwork hours will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

·         Up to 10 minute delays are anticipated.

·         Both southbound lanes of Highway. 101 will remain open during the week of February 4-10 for the Pebble Beach golf tournament.

·         Roadwork is expected to be completed by the end of March, weather permitting.
